John Cowman, President of JLC Airshow Management, gave an update on "Good Morning Rome" about the Wings Over North Georgia air shows for 2020 and 2021 from the International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) convention in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier this week. It's official! The U.S. Navy's Blue Angels will be back in Rome, Georgia in 2021! The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will be the headliner for the 2020 air show, which will also feature the launch of a new air racing series. Click on the link to hear more.

Our guest in this episode is longtime high school basketball coach, Milt Travis. Coach Travis is currently a part of the coaching team at Blue Collar Basketball. He has served as the head basketball coach in Rome, Georgia at Model (1985-2003) and Rome (2013-2017). Coach Travis also spent some of his career as head coach at Buford and Stephens County, both schools in the state of Georgia.
Our discussion is on the "Coaches Mindset Clinic" scheduled for November 16th and sponsored by the FCA Rome Area. Coach Travis shares some information and stories on the critical role that mental health plays in life and sports. He also highlights the speakers for the event, talks about how it came to light, and what he hopes it will lead to in the future.
